holy sh*t!!!! I can't believe Houston/Galveston Island here in TX has seen snow! We are actually having a white Christmas! I feel like i'm in the twilight zone! but i'm worried, because i've never driven in that before, and I've gotta get to Houston and Spring Valley (1 hour drive to Houston, 2 hours' drive to Spring Valley) to see family today (due to the weather, i'm stuck at Eric's house in Galveston)! I might have to wait until it melts  there's already been tons of wrecks, and Eric is working police today, and is working a major car pileup right now... he got called in earlier than what his shift started, and his Sargeant said it looks fatal. I can't imagine that. That could be a family traveling to see their relatives on Christmas day. We're not used to the roads being like this, and yes there are bad drivers too.... but due to my inexperience, i'm delaying my traveling plans. I wonder if up north where people are used to snow, if they have a lot of wrecks, or if it's just down here due to inexperience??? if someone can answer that for me..... it snowed off and on all day yesterday, just snowflakes, and sleet, and the roads starting to ice up... well last night it hit hard, and now this morning EVERYTHING is covered in 3-5 inches!!! it's funny to see snow-covered palm trees lol! i've taken tons of pics, soon I hope to post them! I know that those up north don't think anything of it, but i've never seen this much snow on the ground HERE before!!! EVER! I got to make a snowman for the first time ever! I tried making a snow angel, but that didn't work too well lol I really needed this snow, it cheered me up sooo much! Eric's mom, his brother Jason, Eric and I were throwing snowballs at each other last night! Oh so much fun, wish we could have snow more often! Well.... not TOO often hehe... i'm thankful that today the majority of people are off from work, and don't have to miss work or drive to work and back in this, in traffic! A WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR AREAS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS
ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 10. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS
IN EFFECT THAT AREA SOUTH OF A LINE FROM BRENHAM TO LAKE
LIVINGSTON AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 10. THE WINTER STORM WARNING
INCLUDES THE HOUSTON AND GALVESTON METRO AREAS.

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL CONTINUE TO BRING SNOW...HEAVY AT
TIMES...TO A LARGE PART OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS. THE AREAS LIKELY TO SEE
THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL BE ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 10. SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE WARNING AREA
THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. AREAS FARTHER NORTH WILL SEE LESS SNOW...
WITH ACCUMULATIONS GENERALLY 1 TO 2 INCHES.

NOW THAT TEMPERATURES HAVE FALLEN BELOW FREEZING IN MANY AREAS...
ROADS MAY BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS...AND ICE MAY BE DIFFICULT TO
SEE AT NIGHT. MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION WHILE TRAVELING TONIGHT.
ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION. DRIVE AT SLOW SPEEDS AND
LEAVE PLENTY OF ROOM BETWEEN YOU AND THE CAR IN FRONT OF YOU.

ACROSS ALL BUT THE IMMEDIATE COAST...TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BELOW
FREEZING THIS EVENING AND REMAIN BELOW FREEZING FOR 14 TO 18 HOURS.
TEMPERATURES WILL BOTTOM OUT EARLY CHRISTMAS MORNING IN THE 20S...WITH
TEMPERATURES DIPPING TO NEAR FREEZING ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST.

PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN TO PROTECT DELICATE PLANTS AND ANIMALS
FROM THESE VERY COLD CONDITIONS THROUGH CHRISTMAS MORNING. CHECK ON
THE ELDERLY TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE ADEQUATE HEATING DURING THE COLD
OVERNIGHT HOURS.  MAKE SURE OUTDOOR ANIMALS ARE PROTECTED FROM THESE
SUB FREEZING TEMPERATURES. EXPOSED PIPES ON THE EXTERIOR OF HOMES
SHOULD BE COVERED TO PREVENT FREEZING.

.DAY TWO...CHRISTMAS DAY.
SUNSHINE WILL RETURN TO SOUTHEAST TEXAS ALLOWING TEMPERATURES TO WARM
INTO THE 40S IN THE AFTERNOON. ANOTHER FREEZE IS EXPECTED CHRISTMAS
NIGHT FOR ALL BUT THE IMMEDIATE COAST...WITH LOWS IN THE MID 20S TO
LOWER 30S.

.DAYS THREE THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.

I feel like I fell in love for the first time with Eric, all over again! It's amazing how he makes me feel! I'm in complete Euphoria right now! I'm gushing, and doubt i'll have an easy time sleeping. I miss him soooo much! He says he'll be coming over before work tomorrow "to see my beautiful face" *aww* hehe I swear, he makes my heart melt! I can't believe it's been a year, and the butterflies haven't ended! Every embrace, every touch, every kiss.... just like the first! He's even said the same thing! He's my perfect match hehe I feel so blessed to have found him after all the pain i've endured in the past with others...it's like God ended both our suffering, and we have healed each others' hearts! sappy I know, i'm such a romantic! Anyways, tons to say, but tired and i'm sure no one wants to hear all about it, nor needs to be told hehe
